Civil 3d? More about it:

Ever wonder how transportation engineers design roads and other infrastructure?
Construction experts don't just show up and start making a road in the middle of nowhere.
Construction experts often follow a plan that is provided to them by an engineer. The plan holds details of how everything is built.
So, the question is how do engineers design roads and other infrastructure? They don't just make something on a blank piece of paper.
Well, when this was introduced to me by a civil engineer. I found that civil engineers use CIVIL 3D an AutoCAD progam to design
roads and other infrastructure. The engineer even showed me a few things on civil 3D. Well at that time I didn't understand some
of the complex drawings and all of the numbers on it but I certainly found it to be extremely intriguing.
The engineer also told me that she can run live simulations on the program meaning she places a truck on the road and sees how
it affects the road or how the truck would be on the road. So, if you ever want to build roads you know what software application to use.
Looking at civil 3D I think it is a very cool software application. I do want to use that program or at least something similar to it.
